On September 24, 2013, a group of higher education representatives including several faculty members traveled to Washington DC to present information to a National Science Foundation Reverse Site Visit review panel. The presenters were Jan Taylor, Ph.D. from the Division of Science and Research at the WV Higher Education Policy Commission, David Lederman, Ph.D. from West Virginia University, Ami Smith, Ph.D. from West Virginia State University, and Brian Antonsen, Ph.D. from Marshall University. They presented information about the WV EPSCoR RII Track 1 Bionanotechnology for Public Security and Environmental Safety. It was a very positive experience for all involved.
